Chieko Mihori Receives Award from Emperor of Japan

Mrs. Chieko Mihori was conferred with The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Rays in recognition of her long-time dedication as a trustee and board member of the Morikami Museum & Japanese Gardens and also in acknowledgement of her commitment to promoting Japanese culture throughout the United States.

Morikami Park Administrator Bonnie White Le May and Cultural Director Tom Gregersen presented James and Chieko Mihori with a picture and plaque thanking them for their service and congratulating them for both receiving The Order of the Rising Sun.
