"Contact Point for Promotion of Foreign Direct Investment in Japan" for Florida
In order to strengthen the promotion of inward FDI the Ministry of Foreign Affairs established the “Contact Point for Promotion of Foreign Direct Investment in Japan” to support U.S. companies intending to invest in Japan.If you have any inquiries or requests, please see the Investment Contact Information. Please include your name, contact information, industry, and as much detail regarding your inquiry as possible so that we may respond appropriately.

Members of the public are welcome to use our culture lobby and reference library without appointments during regular business hours. If you wish to come to our office and speak in-person with a representative of the Education and Culture department, an appointment is required.

Holiday Schedule for 2024,2025:
In accordance with the Act on Holidays of Administrative Organizations of 1988 (Act No. 91), the Consulate-General of Japan in Miami will be closed on Florida state holidays and some Japanese national holidays. We will be closed a total of 18 days in the year 2024(20 days in the year 2024), in addition to Saturdays and Sundays.2024
