"Contact Point for Promotion of Foreign Direct Investment in Japan" for Florida

In order to strengthen the promotion of inward FDI the Ministry of Foreign Affairs established the “Contact Point for Promotion of Foreign Direct Investment in Japan” to support U.S. companies intending to invest in Japan.

Members of the public are welcome to use our culture lobby and reference library without appointments during regular business hours. If you wish to come to our office and speak in-person with a representative of the Education and Culture department, an appointment is required.

Holiday Schedule for 2024,2025:

In accordance with the Act on Holidays of Administrative Organizations of 1988 (Act No. 91), the Consulate-General of Japan in Miami will be closed on Florida state holidays and some Japanese national holidays. We will be closed a total of 18 days in the year 2024(20 days in the year 2024), in addition to Saturdays and Sundays.

Directions:

Coming From the North
  • Take I-95 South until exit 1-B.
  • Turn left onto S.W. 8th Street.
  • Pass 4 traffic lights. The building will be on the right hand side.
  • The building is located between S.W. 8th Street and 9th Street and faces S.W. 1st Avenue.
 
Coming From the South
  • Take I-95 North until exit 1-B.
  • Turn right onto S.W. 8th Street.
  • Pass 3 traffic lights; the building will be on the right hand side.
  • The building is located between S.W. 8th Street and 9th Street and faces S.W. 1st Avenue.
 
Parking
  • Brickell City Tower has a parking garage that is available for a fee.
  • Metered street parking is also available.
  • There are additional parking garages in the area.
 
Public Transportation
  • Brickell City Tower is across S.W. 1st Avenue and up one block from the Brickell Metrorail Station.
  • Multiple Metromover stations are within walking distance.
  • Metrobus lines 6, 8, 48, 248 and 102 Route B stop at the Brickell Metrorail Station.
