Fees are payable in exact cash, U.S. money order, or cashier’s check, and must be made payable to Consulate General of Japan.
Neither personal checks nor credit cards are accepted.
Applications will not be considered accepted until all the necessary documents have been submitted. Please make sure to check the requirements to ensure you have a complete application.
Applications accepted on or after July 1, 2026 will be subject to the new fees.
